Was in Selfridges today with the wife and ran into Chris - congratulated him about Friday and he stopped and chatted for a few minutes without a smidgen of trying to brush me off

Got me thinking about how he really is a top player - has come back from several bad injuries, is back in absolute top form and is a strong reliable performer, and withstood the challenge of EC whose style of play is more noticable and was a big favourite on these forums

Also, its always Chris and Percy who are amongst the last two players talking to fans after a game and applauding us no matter what the result, and that means a lot. He really is the type of player that Worcester need, and a credit to our Club

Gushing over!!

After a previous Friday night game he came to the Wanderers match on the following Saturday, stood by the touch line with the rest of us.

Agreed that he has come back well after some dreadful injuries-really good to see.

I quite agree and posted to that effect last season when EC was all the rage on this forum.

I agree....he's looked strong under the high ball this season and the "new" attacking style seems to be suiting him. I assume he was checking out the Raging Bull range in Selfridges?

Quickly becoming my favourite Worcester player. Quick, clever, committed and always makes one or two yards more than he has any right to. A great Warrior, and it's good to see him back to his best after a few years of niggling injuries.

Agreed.

Top player, top bloke.

It's a wonder he isn't leaving...

Seriously - Chris and Percy chatting in the corner after the matches is a highlight to many people. Their willingness to engage with the fans is great.

Chris also interviewed very well on BBC H&W early on Saturday morning. :smt023

Completely agree.

Has always come across as a top bloke and this season has really found some great form.

He's consistently put in top performances this season and seems to have improved every aspect of his game over that last 24months.

Hopefully our first choice fullback for some time to come!!

Indeed, there are few fullbacks I would pick over Chris, he is a solid reliable performer and has a cool head. He can also attack really well, I know England has a wealth of choices at fullback I would love to see him get a Saxons call up as it is clearly what he is striving for and what keeps him getting better and better.
