hey guys,as there have been conflicting reports about squad strengths from the lv game, hypothetically if you were now in our hc group, what would you pick as your strongest squad?
ours i would think would be as follows

13 jon davies
12 scott williams
11 morgan stoddard
10 rhys priestland
9 tavis knoyle
1 rhodri jones
2 matthew rees
3 jacob adriaanse
4 george earle
5 joe snyman
6 rob mccusker
7 aaron shingler
8 kieran murphy

subs
16 phil john
17 ken owens
18 samson lee
19 richard kelly
20 josh turnbull
21 gareth davies
22 jordan williams
23 gareth owen

1. Matt Mullan
2. Ed Shervington
3. Dave (Tevita Taumoepeau, has a long term injury) - Although Euan Murray will be here at the end of the month
4. James Percival
5. Chris Jones
6. Sam Betty
7. Matt Kvesic
8. Blair Cowan
9. Paul Hodgson
10. Andy Goode
11. David Lemi
12. Josh Matavesi
13. Alex Grove
14. Nikki Walker
15. Chris Pennell

16. Aleki Lutui
17. Ceri Jones
18. John Andress
19. Dean Schofield
20. Semisi Tualava
21. Jonny Arr
22. Ravai Fatiaki
23. Josh Draniniu

So from the starting lineup we have 6 who started against you, however 2 of those were coming back from injury/long periods of not playing.
2 players from that bench started against you, and 2 of them were on the bench.

So out of 23 we had 13 players missing, IMO.

Think we need a fly half on the bench there WarriorA, so would put Carlisle on the bench instead of Dranuini.

We could always shift Matavesi to FH if Goode has to go off

Understand the thought WA, however I would still rather have Carlisle on the bench than a winger. Its a lot easier to cover the wings than FH. Fatiaki has also performed well on the wing previously.

Mundo, Gillies is still in there, but to be fair, I don't think anyone has really worked out what our best lock combo is yet this season, but I think Percy and Jones is a good starting point.

WA
I see you haven't started the club captain, is that to save him walking to and from the bench for 10 mins in most games that he starts? :smt002

Mundoscarlet,

No, Craig isn't figuring at the moment as Mr Redman doesn't rate his committment to the ruck and maul part of the game.
